MELTEM QUINLAN - Turkey - painting

Graduated from Ege University and in 1986 sold her successful public relations business and moved to London where she has lived since.

In London she set up business and studied Fine Art part-time from 1986 to 2004 where she took various courses amongst others at Chelsea Art School.

Since her son attended school she has attended a full time course at Heatherley's School of Fine Art in Chelsea. At Heatherley's she has developed a unique style in abstract painting, using many different media and making and preparing her own materials and paints to create particular landscape abstract works using mixed media such as pastels, collage, acrylics, some print techniques and finally finishing with oil media. The works are an experience of space and celebration of colours and textures.
